In a recent interview, Ronke acknowledged that Funke is a strict person and said the actress herself is aware of that trait. However, she maintained that people who know Funke closely can attest to her kind-hearted nature.
“Funke Akindele is a good woman. She’s very strict oo, even Funke herself says it that she knows she’s strict, but if you know her well, you will know that despite her strictness, she is very, very kind,” she said.
Ronke said Funke has helped several people both within and outside the entertainment industry, including individuals she does not personally know.
She explained that Funke has a way of turning sadness into happiness whenever people visit her home, adding that the actress often comes to the aid of people going through difficult situations.
Ronke also recalled how Funke supported her financially when she was ill, saying the actress had been helpful to her even before her health challenge.
“When I came out back then that I was ill, if not that it’s not good to mention the exact figure online, but the money Funke gave me… She is a generously good and blessed person,” she said.
The actress stressed that her praise was not influenced by her current relationship with Funke, noting that she had not even featured in any of Funke’s recent movies.
Ronke maintained that Funke’s generosity extends beyond friends and colleagues, saying she frequently helps people after learning about their struggles.
She described Funke as a wonderful person who genuinely cares about others and often offers assistance quietly to people in need.
